Best Dipping Sauces for Chicken Nuggets
I’m the kind of nugget eater that lines up ALL the dipping sauces and then goes to town. I need sweet and sour, honey mustard, bbq, ketchup, buffalo sauce…all of them. Each nugget needs multiple dips in multiple sauces. Is that so wrong? I am well aware sauces are where all the calories live, but I do not care. We need extra flavor baby!
Don’t get me wrong, the flavor of these baked chicken nuggets is good enough, but I’ll never give up my dips!
If you’re going to make homemade nuggets instead of buying them at your local Mc Donald’s, you gotta make the sauces as well!
We have some of our favorite homemade dipping sauces:
- Homemade Buffalo Sauce
- Chick-fil-a Sauce
- Roasted Garlic Aioli
- Best Sweet and Sour Sauce
- Homemade Ranch
- Best BBQ Sauce
- Homemade Honey Mustard Dipping Sauce
- Zaxby’s Copycat Dipping Sauce
- Creamy Sriracha Dipping Sauce

Really enjoyed this! Do you have any advice on how to not get the mixture from caking up all over your fingers. I am wasting a lot of the bread crumbs and egg/butter as it is sticking to my fingers as I dip the chicken into each mixture. After 3 or 4 nuggets, my fingers are all caked up.
You can always try wearing gloves of some sort during that part!
Hi Becky, I want to thank you for your wonderful blog, I so enjoy many of your recipes!!!
I just saw the parmesan chicken nuggets and they look delicious. I was thinking of using that recipe with whole chicken breasts, what are your thoughts?
I think it would work great! Would be super yummy. You could just use the breading with your favorite way of preparing. Thanks for the sweet words…means a lot!
