Why We Love Mimosas and Bellinis
Let’s be honest, I love anything with sparkling wine. Mimosas and Bellinis are serious favorites. Fruity, pretty, girly, yum.
- Mimosas: The classic drink is made with orange juice and prosecco.
- Bellinis: The classic drink is made with peach nectar, but we’re DIY-ing it! You’ll need frozen sliced peaches, agave nectar (or another liquid sweetener), water, and prosecco.
It’s so easy to set up your own mimosa bar, and I promise you it will be super popular! It’s a wonderful way to add some fun and color to your party!
Mimosa Bar Ideas
I used a mix of flavors for my mimosas and bellinis with pineapple, peach, strawberry, and blackberry puree, but you can choose whatever flavors you want. Some I can’t wait to try next time are mango, clementine, raspberry, or even kiwi. The choice is entirely yours to make!

How to Store
The blended fruit purees for this bellini and mimosa bar will keep well in the fridge, covered, for up to 2 days, and you can also freeze them for longer storage. Assemble the mimosas and bellinis just before serving.
Serving Suggestions
This mimosa bar is perfect for bridal showers, birthdays, weddings, or Sunday brunch. Serve it up with brunch classics, like quiche lorraine, blueberry pancakes, sticky buns, eggs benedict casserole, cake mix coffee cake, chicken and waffles on a stick, french toast casserole, baked apple oatmeal, or chocolate croissants.
A mimosa bar is the perfect DIY for your next party. All you need is prosecco (or champagne) and fruit juices and purees.
Mimosas are made with orange juice, while bellinis are made with peach nectar or puree.
I like prosecco, but champagne or sparkling wine also works well.
I much prefer to use frozen fruits for this mimosa bar. It means you can serve the drinks straight away as they are nice and chilled and I find it much more convenient and budget friendly. You can make them with fresh fruits if you have them to hand.
Mimosas and bellinis typically have as much alcohol as prosecco, so around 12%.

How many Bellinis does one fruit choice with water and agave make? For example, one bottle & the fruit mixture will serve “x” amount? I am planning my sister in laws bridal shower and thought this would work great! Thanks for the recipe!
