I love the flavor of apples dipped in caramel in the fall, but I don’t love all the extra sugar and calories. This cream cheese caramel apple dip satisfies my sweet tooth in a healthier way with fat-free cream cheese, light Cool Whip, and sugar-free caramel sauce. This apple dip is perfect for sharing (or not– I won’t tell!), and it’s so easy to make. I recommend making a double batch because this dip disappears in minutes!

There’s just something about caramel and apples together. It’s so perfect for autumn! If the weather is getting cool you better believe I am making this dip. This cream cheese caramel apple dip is creamy, dreamy, and just a little lighter on the calories and sugar.

Tips for Success
- You can use full-fat versions of the ingredients for a more indulgent dip.
- Feel free to leave out the white chocolate chips for a lower-calorie treat (reduces calories by about 81 per serving).
How to Store
This cream cheese caramel apple dip should stay fresh for 3-5 days when properly stored in an airtight container in the refrigerator. It’s great that it lasts a few days, but I always prefer it on the first day or two after making it. So delish!
Serving Suggestions
I made this creamy caramel dip with apples in mind, so of course I recommend serving this with apple slices. I love Honeycrisp, but Braeburn, Pink Lady, or Gala are also delicious. For a tart pairing, opt for Granny Smith!
I think it would be amazing as a caramel fondue! Cube other goodies, like cheesecake, brownies, or pound cake, and dip in the caramel sauce for a delicious treat!

Serve the Dip: You can eat it immediately, or refrigerate it for about an hour to allow it to firm up a bit. Serve with apple slices.
I was very interested until I saw the number of artificial ingredients and artificial sugars. it may be low CAL but definitely not healthy .
Hi Laura, it’s just meant to be a lightened up version of traditional caramel apple dip. Hope you have a great weekend!
For the caramel apple dip , you have calories per serving , you just don’t have how much is a serving.
Bliss. Pure, sheer, utter bliss. Cannot wait to cover everything in this major deliciousness!
Believe me, this plunge is madly great!! It’s additionally one of those treats you can convey to gatherings and Fall celebrations and not feel remorseful backpedalling for another chomp. The best part? It meets up in only five minutes.
Look so delicious, I like caramel bean.
If I make this the night before serving it will the texture be off? I am excited to try the recipe but am looking for any way to save myself time the day I’m hosting! Thanks!
I have never tried it in advance but I think it would be fine. Just stir it up quickly before serving. Not 100% sure but 99% sure :)
How many ww points with the chips included would it be a serving? Thank you!!!!! :)
Love to see NEW RECIPES to make for my husband and family…. ?
So glad to have you stop by Frances!
I made this tonight and it was delicious! I only used half the caramel sauce and put toffee bits on top instead of white chocolate chips. Using less sauce made it stay a little fluffier and cut quite a few calories.
That sounds great that way!! Thanks for stopping by!
I tallied the weight watchers points for this dip using fat free cream cheese, fat free cool whip, and sugar free caramel topping. The points came out to be 3 points plus per serving. Adding the chocolate chips, it was 4 points plus per serving. I think that is just the right amount for a snack dip with apple slices!
Oh that makes me happy!! Thanks for letting me know :)
I love the diplomacy here, which is why I hesitated but could not in good conscience leave this page without saying it… this sounds phenomenal, first of all. But let me just challenge you here to compare the fat free versions against the full fat versions of the subbed out skinny ingredients. What do they do to make fat free pallettable? They add sugar… by the truckload. And if the difference is marginal , consuming a few extra calories from fat might be better for you – believe it or not – that nearly as may from *sugar*
