Breakfast Burger Recipe

These breakfast burgers with fried eggs, sausage, bacon, cheese, and more make for the best hearty brunch food!

Ingredients

  • 1 pound 80% lean ground beef
  • ½ pound pork breakfast sausage bulk or casings removed
  • tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
  • ½ teaspoon garlic powder
  • ½ teaspoon ground black pepper
  • Kosher salt to taste
  • 2 tablespoons unsalted butter (¼ stick)
  • 6 large eggs
  • 6 bagels sliced in half
  • 6 slices cheese
  • 12 slices cooked bacon
  • 6 slices tomato
  • 6 pieces lettuce

Instructions

  • In a medium bowl, combine the ground beef, sausage, Worcestershire sauce, garlic powder, and pepper. Mix well with your hands.

  • Divide the mixture into 6 patties. Place the patties on a plate and season with salt.

  • Heat a large skillet or stovetop griddle over medium-high heat. Melt butter, then cook the patties for 4 minutes per side, or to your desired doneness.

  • Remove the patties from the skillet and crack in the eggs, cooking until they reach your desired doneness.

  • Place the patties on the bagels, topping each with sliced cheese and a fried egg. Place bacon, tomato, and lettuce on top, and any additional toppings you'd like.

Notes
